Dining Room

I really like my dining room area. I get a lot of compliments on the floor. The floor is made of brick pavers that I found at Lowes. My husband made me the table. I was going for a farmhouse look. The dining chest is Broyhill Attic Heirlooms.

...and yes. That is my vacuum handle at the bottom of the picture.

I replaced some really old sunflowers with some new red geraniums, and now I LOVE this pitcher:

And I bought some fake, yet in my opinion, realistic-looking fruit for my apothecary jars. I'm happy now. :)

And pretty much everything on this dining chest came from one of either three places: Hobby Lobby, Kirklands, and Walmart.

  1. I like your living room. You did a great job. I never would have thought to put brick IN my home. But it deffinetly achieved that look you were going for.

Thanks for commenting again today! :)
I'll have to check out your post on your master bedroom. Sometimes it's easier to get things done when the hubs are gone. Mine doesn't always see my vision, but likes the end result. So I've pretty much learned not to talk to him about. I just give him a heads up and say "trust me." he he.

I know what you mean about chick-fil-a. When we moved into our house now, the closest one was about 30 min. away too. But then a year later they build one 5 min. away and I was sooooooo excited. I love taking my daughter there as well. Very nice playground for toddlers and "healthy" fast-food.

    Thanks again for your comments!
