Caroline's Bedroom

Here are a few pictures of Caroline's bedroom. I have so much fun working on projects and buying pretty things for her room. Recently I made some window mistreatments and re-did the canopy over her bed.

And I have to include this. I found this picture a long time ago...maybe when I was eleven or twelve-years-old... but anyway, my mom and my dad colored this together when I was a baby. I'm thinking that my mom told me that they bought the picture-page at a gas station. I saved it and hung it in my room when I was a teenager. Then put it in a box hoping to give it to my kids one day. I found it a few months ago, framed it, and hung it in Caroline's room.



And this picture was taken by request. Let me tell you the story... While I was gluing (yes, of course I used hot glue!) those pink flowers to her canopy, she was in her closet demanding that I put a dress on her. I told her that she was about to take a bath and put on pajamas, and she pitched one big fit! Then she looks at me and says, "Momma, you told me "no." You break my heart!"
O-H! M-Y!
I just wanted to laugh. Laugh because I was thinking, "Girl, you are too smart!" Can you believe that a three-year-old has the ability and the brains to try to manipulate? Wow! So, after the crying, she says, "Momma, take a picture of me crying."
Okay, so now I'm rolling on the floor laughing.
So, I grab the camera, tell her to cry, and this is what she does:
