wreaths, banners and...?

This is a wreath I made for a cousin's baby shower...

Hope she likes it. Maybe she'll hang it up over the crib or on the door to the nursery. This project by the way, is one of the easiest things I have ever made. All you need is a grapevine wreath, a boa, and some wooden letters and acrylic paint. I hot-glue everything on. But I'm sure you figured that one out already.

Speaking of hot-glue... I hot-glued a sign on a wall in my house. That thing is not coming down without bringing down some sheetrock with it! One of the greatest ideas I have every had. :)

Here's a banner to match the theme of the shower...

And these are some... well, I don't really know what to call these. I saw some of these made from fabric scraps and buttons and I thought I could do these with ribbon. I believe I'll be attaching them to headbands, purses and some cardigans that I own. Maybe flip-flops too. ...well...I like them anyway. Don't faint! I actually used a needle and thread for this project. :)

So, what do you think?

  1. Super cute! I love the banner! Thanks so much for stopping by and joining the Sunday Showcase Party! I greatly appreciate it! Hope you have a wonderful week! Hope to see you again Sunday! ~ Stephanie Lynn

  2. Love the colors you used! What a fun project! And what DID you do with the cute button ruffled flower thingies?

  3. I glued them on headbands! ...And pinned one onto a cardigan.
